About me

I am Norbert Ahnsorge. In May 2022 I opened Green Wall Coffee at Sophienstraße 27 in Berlin-Lichtenberg, the first specialty coffee shop in the district. Before opening the café, I spent four years roasting coffee professionally.

"I really just wanted to build a small café where the coffee has the quality I would want for myself. What it has become is a place where people get to know each other, meet, talk — and drink coffee together."

What this blog is about

Here I answer questions about coffee: growing and processing, roasting, grinding, water, brewing and milk. I hear many of them at the counter. Where it fits, I add how we do it at the café.
