Which milk alternatives does Green Wall Coffee offer?
Oat, pea and coconut, all at no extra charge. If you want a plant-based alternative instead of cow's milk, you pay the same price here.
Why there is no surcharge
In many cafés oat milk costs 50 cents extra. That is a decision, not a necessity — and it falls precisely on the guests who avoid cow's milk out of intolerance or conviction. Here a cappuccino with oat costs exactly what one with cow's milk costs.
The three alternatives compared
Oat is the all-rounder: slightly sweet, foams reliably, does not bury the coffee. The obvious choice for cappuccino and flat white.
Pea is creamier than most plant milks, and more neutral in flavour than oat. A good option if you prefer things less sweet.
Coconut brings a distinct flavour of its own. That suits strong, chocolatey roasts — with delicate, fruity single origins it quickly drowns out what the coffee actually has to offer.
In practice at Green Wall Coffee
At our café at Sophienstraße 27 in Berlin-Lichtenberg it is worth working through them: the same coffee tastes noticeably different with oat, pea and coconut.
