Are dogs allowed at Green Wall Coffee?
Yes, dogs are welcome. They do have to stay on the lead, because not everyone is comfortable around dogs.
Why the lead rule applies
A café is a tight space in which people end up close to one another whether they chose to or not. Some guests are afraid of dogs — and those guests should be able to sit down just like everyone else. The lead is the compromise that lets both work.
In practice at Green Wall Coffee
At our café at Sophienstraße 27 in Berlin-Lichtenberg dogs are part of the everyday picture, especially on Saturdays. With eight seats outside under the awning there is also a relaxed option for larger dogs — there is more room out there than inside.
